Ish Khanna is the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Dr. Reddy's. He has over 20 years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and has worked at Pfizer, Pharmacia, Monsanto and Searle. Prior to joining Dr. Reddy's, Dr. Khanna was a Senior Research Advisor at Pfizer/Pharmacia.

Dr. Khanna has an excellent record of success covering exploratory to late phase discovery efforts. His areas of expertise cover medicinal/synthetic chemistry as well as understanding pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic properties of drug molecules. His therapeutic areas of interest include inflammation, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Dr. Khanna is a co-inventor of Celebrex, an important drug to treat arthritis.

Dr. Khanna obtained his doctorate from the University of Bombay and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Kansas. Dr. Khanna is a member of American Chemical Society, Inflammation Research Association and American Heart Association. He is a reviewer for a number of international research journals and has presented at various international meetings. Dr. Khanna has over 80 patents and publications to his credit.
