Reddy US Therapeutics is assembling a Scientific Advisory Board composed of an internationally known group of clinicians and scientists with expertise in therapeutic or research areas of interest to the company.
Henry N. Ginsberg, M.D., is Irving Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, New York, where he also serves as program director of the General Clinical Research Center and director of the Irving Center for Clinical Research at NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital. A fellow of the Council on arteriosclerosis and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Dr. Ginsberg is a member of several professional organizations, among them the American Association of Physicians, American Society for Clinical Investigation, American Heart Association, and American Diabetes Association. Dr. Ginsberg's recent research efforts have focused on the regulation of apolipoprotein B metabolism in humans and the relationship of insulin resistance with dyslipidemia and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Ginsberg is an editorial board member of the Journal of lipid Research, Metabolism, Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Journal of Clinical Investigation. He is a reviewer for Circulation, The New England Journal of Medicine, Diabetes, and Atherosclerosis, among others. Dr. Goldberg is currently a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Preventive Medicine and Nutrition at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Goldberg has been conducting research in the area of lipid metabolism for over twenty years, and he is considered the leading authority on lipoprotein lipase. His worked has been recognized by numerous awards, including the recent award of an NIH Merit Award recognizing his productivity and creativity in the area of lipid metabolism. Dr. Goldberg is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Heart Association, the American Society for Clinical Investigation, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Sam Parthasarathy is a professor at the Department of Pathology, Louisiana State University Health Science Center. Prior to his appointment at LSU, Dr. Parthasarathy was the director of the Division of Research and McCord/Cross Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics and professor of medicine at Emory University. Dr Parthasarathy is an internationally acclaimed biochemist with special expertise in antioxidants, macrophage biology, and lipid/protein metabolism. He is a member of the editorial boards of Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of Lipid Research, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, Antioxidants & Redox Signaling, General Pharmacology, and the Journal of Medicinal Food. Dr. Parthasarathy is an elected member of the Executive Council for the International Society for Molecular Nutrition and Therapy and is a member of the Nominating Committee of the American Heart Association.
